Getting to Know Crosswinds
September 19, 3 to 6 p.m. (dinner following)
For anyone interested in becoming a member
or just learning more about Crosswinds
What does it mean to be Presbyterian? What does it mean to be a “member” of a particular congregation? What is the purpose and mission of Crosswinds? How did we get to where we are today?
These are just a few of the topics that will be covered as we gather together on September 19 for a class, followed by a meal with Crosswinds’ session. For more information, please speak to Pastor Hartwell or call the church office at 623-582-2018.
Food Fight
The results are in! For the months of June & July, we challenged Sunrise Methodist to see who could raise the most food & water for local food banks. The winning church will be the guests for a dinner provided by the other church. Who won? Go to our mission page to find out!
School Supply Collection
School supplies can be a financial burden for many families, so we contacted our neighbor, Desert Winds Elementary, for a list of their requested supplies. The form is at the church, or you can print out a copy here.
Also, they could use some extra socks and underwear (sizes 6-12) for use during the year.
