Rev. Dr. Terry Marks

Dr. Terry Marks provides Crosswinds with extensive pastoral and leadership experience in his desire to connect the relevance of God’s Word to the pulse of today’s post-modern society. Professionally, Dr. Marks has served as Director of Public Allies Arizona, a program of the Arizona State University Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation, and prior to his nonprofit work and ministry calling, he enjoyed a successful career in banking and finance. During his banking tenure, Dr. Marks spent several years covering the Eastern markets of New York, Boston, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., while participating in multi-billion dollar Wall Street loan syndications to publicly-traded companies.

Dr. Marks earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Arizona State University (ASU) and an MBA from Grand Canyon University (GCU). He also holds a Master of Theological Studies degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Bakke Graduate University where he studied internationally in Beijing, Shanghai, and Xian, China; and Kingston, Jamaica. His international missionary work includes travel to Chennai, India, where he served as a seminar instructor for ministry students. As a life-long learner, Dr. Marks is in the final stages of completing his second doctorate, an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership at Grand Canyon University. He has taught as adjunct faculty for both graduate and undergraduate students at ASU, GCU, and Estrella Mountain Community College.

Pastor Marks passionately serves the community and is an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc. Most of all, Dr. Marks is wonderfully married to Dr. Traci Williams-Marks, a nationally-licensed psychologist, and the proud father of four amazing children.
